Register eRx access

To issue electronic prescriptions (e-scripts) in Halaxy, your practice must first register with eRx and obtain a unique Connection ID. Every prescribing practitioner must be registered to obtain their own Connection ID. You can complete the eRx registration process directly within Halaxy, making setup quick and hassle-free.

When you've completed all the setup requirements, you can start prescribing e-scripts instantly, streamline your prescribing process, and provide a faster, paperless experience for your patients.

Note

Every prescribing practitioner must be registered to obtain a Connection ID. If they work at more than one physical location, they need a separate Connection ID for each location. For any subsequent registrations after the initial one, the practitioner must register directly with eRx through their registration page.

Prerequisites

Before you can begin registering a new eRx Connection ID, you must first:

  • Add the practitioner's provider number for the Medicare funder on the Identifications page.

  • Add the practitioner's AHPRA registration number in their profile.

Request a new eRx Connection ID

  1. Click Settings > Integrations.

  2. Under the eRx Registration section, click Register New ID.

  2. Under the eRx Registration section, click Link Existing ID.
