Finance reports track a range of financial performance parameters, including income, profit and loss, unpaid invoices, and more.
To run, save or view finance reports, click Reports > Finance in the sidebar.
You can create the following reports under this category:

Deposit |
Track deposits and prepayments that patients and organisations have made, including which invoices that deposits have been allocated to and the total value of unallocated deposits |
Track all the expenses that you have entered into Halaxy over a particular period of time. |

Income |
Track the revenue/fees that are paid for a particular period of time (income date is based on when the payment was recorded or marked as paid). Includes breakdown by payment method and invoice due date (if applicable). |
Invoice |
Track and review all invoices regardless of whether the invoices have been paid or not. Invoice date is based on the associated appointment/invoice line (or the invoice creation date if there is no appointment). Includes due date if applicable. Invoice reports can be filtered to show or hide voided and written-off invoice lines to help track bad debt. |
Medicare claims |
Create a list of all rebates processed from invoices. |
Track NDIS claims with links to invoices, practitioner registration numbers, patient details, support dates, and hours used under an NDIS referral. Can be uploaded to PRODA. |

Profit and loss |
Tracks your income against your expenses to calculate total profit or loss, with links to each invoice or expense. Can be run tax inclusive or tax exclusive. |
Simpler BAS |
Calculate your inputs into your quarterly BAS Statement, based on ATO defined requirements for small businesses. |
Track and review invoices that have not been paid, whether invoices are overdue and how many days that invoices are overdue. |

View all transactions made using a Tyro terminal. |
Unprocessed Medicare |
View all unpaid rebates. |
Xero Syncing |
View all invoices, expenses and deposits and their syncing statuses for practitioners who use Xero. If syncing has failed you can resync. |

On the sidebar, click Reports > Finance.

On the top right, click New Report.

Select the Report Type and set your filters.

Click Run.

Your report results are displayed in a list. From here, you can:

Edit filters: In the top right of the report, click the pencil icon.

Save report: At the bottom of the report, click Save. This saves the report to its report category list.

Close report: At the bottom of the report, click Cancel. This closes the report without saving it.
