Process claims with WorkCover Queensland

Who can do this?

If you have already connected WorkCover Queensland to your Halaxy account, you can start processing claims straight from an invoice.

Processing an insurance claim with WorkCover Queensland in Halaxy costs 1 credit per successful transaction.

Tip

Only invoices with WorkCover QLD fees can be submitted for claims processing. It's recommended to import the fees from the Halaxy preset database to have all the correct fee and funder details.

Lodge a WorkCover Queensland claim

  1. Open the invoice.

  2. Under the Payments section, click Process WorkCover QLD.

  3. In the pop-up, review the claim details. To confirm, click Process.

The claim is lodged with WorkCover Queensland. You can view the claim history to check the status of your claim.

If the claim lodgement is successful, you receive a WorkCover QLD B2B Online Claim statement with a summary of the claim details.

If the claim is unsuccessful, you receive an error message immediately.

Manually reconcile payments from WorkCover Queensland

WorkCover Queensland does not provide payment notifications, so you have to manually reconcile and update the invoice after you receive payment.

  1. After you receive payment, open the invoice.

  2. Under the Payments section, click Reconcile.

  3. In the pop-up, enter the amount you received and the date of payment.

  4. Click Reconcile.

  5. Refresh your browser to update the invoice status.

Cancel a WorkCover Queensland claim

Note: You can only cancel a claim on the same day you lodge it.

  1. Open the invoice.

  2. Under the Payments section, click Reconcile.

  3. In the pop-up, set Status to Unsuccessful.

  4. Click Reconcile.

Your claim has been cancelled.
