Add practitioners to a location

After adding practitioners to your practice group, you must assign them to their respective location/s so they can begin setting their hours and scheduling appointments. Practitioners can also use the location’s information for any reports they want to run.

Tip

Need more privacy between locations? You can restrict practitioner access to only the locations they are assigned to and are active in. Simply edit their access level and tick the Clinic Restriction checkbox.

Assign a user to a location

Before proceeding, make sure the practitioner already has a Halaxy account and has been added to your practice group. If these are complete, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Personal > Locations.

  2. For the relevant location, click Add Practitioner.

  3. In the pop-up, select the practitioner you want to add to the location.

  4. Click Save.

Note

You can follow this same procedure for adding Administrator users (i.e. non-practitioner staff members, such as receptionists, administrators, or managers) to a location.

Add individual business registration for practitioners

When a practitioner is added to a location, their business registration number (such as ABN) in use defaults to the location’s registration number. If you prefer to use your own registration number for your invoices or clinical notes, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Personal > Locations.

  2. For the relevant location and practitioner name, next to ABN in Use, click the Icon-Edit.svg pencil icon.

  3. Enter your registration number.

  4. Click Save.

Note

Practitioners can set a different registration number at each practice location.
