Connect Argus

Who can do this?

Practitioners only

Argus is a secure messaging service for health practitioners operated by Telstra. It is compliant with Australian privacy standards is integrated directly into Halaxy for sharing clinical records.

Note

Sharing clinical records using Argus or ReferralNet costs 3 credits per message.

Tip

In order to use secure messaging, both the sender and receiver are required to use the same messaging provider. By signing up for both ReferralNet and Argus, this increases your ability to send messages securely.

Connect your Argus account with your Halaxy

  1. Click Settings > Integrations.

  2. Under the Secure Messaging section, next to Argus, click the Icon-Edit.svg edit icon.

  3. If this is the first time a user in your group has set up Argus:

    • If you have an existing account: Click Yes. Enter your username and password and click Save.

    • If you do not have an existing account: Click No and contact our support line on 1800 984 334 or email us at community@halaxy.com to obtain a promotional code which can be entered when you register with Argus. Then click the link in the Halaxy pop-up, which takes you to the Argus page to register. You will need to wait for approval from Argus, which can take up to 3 to 4 days. If you have not heard back from Argus, contact them to let them know you have registered as a Halaxy user. When the account is enabled, the status changes from Waiting for Approval to Active.

  4. When your group account is set up, you then need to connect your individual Argus account to Halaxy.

Set up your individual account

If you are part of a group practice, once your group has connected their group Argus account, you must set up your individual account.

  1. Click Settings > Integrations.

  2. Under the Secure Messaging section, next to Argus, click the Icon-Edit.svg edit icon.

  3. In the pop-up, configure the following:

    • For the individual practitioner, select Use Existing Account.

    • Enter the same username and password that was used to register the group. (This can be used for each practitioner.)

    • Click Validate Login to verify that your username and password are correct once the connection status is Active.

  4. Click Save.

You can now send and receive patient clinical notes using Argus.
