Print a clinical note

If you need to keep or provide physical copies of clinical notes, you can print them anytime.

Note

Need to provide a copy of the patient’s entire record? You can export all clinical notes to print or save.

Print a clinical note

  1. Open the clinical note.

  2. Click the down arrow to open the note options, then select Print.

  3. A preview of the clinical note opens in a new tab, which you can now print or save as a PDF.

Tip

Get your clinical note documents to look exactly the way you want. You can customise the letterhead or specify your preferences (see next section) on what to include.

Print a clinical note with custom preferences

If you want to print with custom preferences for an individual clinical note, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the clinical note.

  2. In the top right, click the Icon-Printer.svg printer icon.

  3. In the pop-up, set your preferences:

    • Content: Select what you want to print.

    • Detail: Select which information you want to include in the clinical notes when you print them.

    • Template: Select your preference on displaying a header or footer in your printed clinical notes.

  4. Click Print. A preview of the clinical note opens in a new tab, which you can now print or save as a PDF.

Note

The custom preferences for this individual note will override your default preferences for clinical notes.
