Merge fees

If you have multiple versions of the same fee, you can quickly merge them instead of deleting one. Merging fees combines all records - such as appointments and invoices - from the duplicates.

Tip

If you are merging with a preset fee, make sure the preset fee is the destination fee to retain its settings and the ability to import any preset updates from Halaxy.

Caution

Merging fee records cannot be undone.

Merge multiple or duplicate fees

  1. Click Finances > Fees.

  2. In the list, click the fee to open it. This is the source fee that you will merge into another.

  3. In the top right, click Merge.

  4. In the pop-up, enter the name of the other fee you want to merge with. This is the destination fee, which retains its name and fee settings. Then click Next.

  5. A list displays all the records from the source fee to be added into the destination fee. The source fee will also use the destination fee's settings. To confirm, click Merge.

You have successfully merged the records for both fees, which are all now under the destination fee.
