When a patient replies to both an SMS reminder and a one-off SMS in close intervals, the reminder reply does not register as such and is recorded in the patient's message history as a regular inbound message. For your tracking purposes, SMS messages from patients can be linked to reminders as responses.
Caution
Linking an SMS to a reminder cannot be undone. Always make sure you are linking the correct messages.

Open the patient profile.

Under the Contact Details section, click the speech bubbles icon to open the message history.

Click the SMS tab.

Locate the patient's unregistered reminder reply. In the top right of the message, click the link icon.

Click the reminder from your practice that you want to link the message.

Next to the patient's reply, click the tick icon to confirm the link.
The patient's response is now linked to the reminder.
