The International Classification of Diseases 10th Revision (ICD-10) is a diagnostic procedure coding system by the World Health Organization (WHO). In Halaxy, ICD-10 codes can be added to invoice fees, with a maximum of 10 codes per fee.
ICD-10 data on Halaxy is generated directly from the WHO database, so all ICD-10 codes added to invoices are always up-to-date and accurate.
Note
ICD-10 codes are currently available only in certain countries. If you would like to have ICD-10 enabled in your country, please contact Halaxy.
You must enable ICD-10 for your practice group before you can add ICD-10 codes to invoices.
-
Click Settings > Payments.
-
Under the Invoice Template Preferences section, click Edit.
-
In the pop-up, for Display ICD-10, select how you want to display the code on invoices. (Note: Both "show" options will enable ICD-10 for your practice group.)
-
Click Save.
You have enabled ICD-10 for your practice group. You may now begin adding ICD-10 codes to invoice fees.
-
Open the invoice.
-
In the same line as the fee, click the pencil icon. (To add a fee, click Add Fee.)
-
For ICD-10, search the number or name of the ICD-10 code and select it from the dropdown. (You can add up to 10 codes per fee.)
-
Click Save.
The fee now displays the ICD-10 codes on the invoice. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other fees on the invoice.
Note
You can only add ICD-10 codes to fees from the invoice (not from the calendar).
