Some practitioners are unable to perform refunds on their Tyro terminal unless it has been specifically configured to enable refunds via Halaxy.
Only Tyro support can help with this, so contact the Tyro Customer Support Team on 1300 729 468 and request they turn off the Integrated Refund Requires Password feature.
Occasionally the link between Xero and Halaxy needs to be re-established. When the link has been lost, data does not transfer across. To re-establish the link, first unsync the Xero integration, then connect it again. Halaxy will remember your Xero preferences and settings.

This can occur when you sync payments from Halaxy to your accounting package as income, and then the actual money from your bank feed is synced as income a second time in your accounting package. This issue occurs because programs like Halaxy cannot access your bank feed.
Please see this support article for information on how to resolve this, including how to set up a clearing account. Note that you can sync payments to a different chart of accounts to where you sync invoices (revenue).
You cannot sync a payment from Halaxy to a draft invoice in Xero. You will have to resync the invoice to reset the invoice status, which will allow the payment to sync.
Additionally, once a payment has been applied to an invoice in Xero, it becomes "locked" in Xero and will not allow further syncing. Xero enforces this to prevent accidental changing of older transactions. You will need to look for the payment in Xero manually, then delete it and resync.
You can also manually create a sync from an invoice or payment in Xero and apply to the matching payment or invoice in Halaxy.

When invoices are synced to QuickBooks, each invoice line is linked to a product/service set up in your QuickBooks account, which must also be linked to an income account. For example, you may have an item set up for Halaxy merchant fees. You must link the relevant product/service in QuickBooks to an income account.
To fix this, follow the steps below:
-
In QuickBooks, click Sales > Products and services.
-
Click the product or service that needs to be linked. (For example: HX - Merchant fees)
-
Tick the checkbox I sell this product/service to my customers.
-
Click Save.
Your invoices should now sync successfully.
