Set the Service Type Code for Medicare or DVA claims

Depending on your profession, you may need to set a Service Type Code for your Medicare claims. You can change your default Medicare or DVA claim settings to set a Service Type Code by following the instructions below.

Change your Medicare or DVA Service Type Code

Click Settings > Users.
In the row for the relevant practitioner's name, click the first aid kit icon.
In the pop-up, select your default settings for Medicare and DVA claims. If you are not sure what options you should use, contact Medicare on 132 150.

These settings are now used as the default for all your claims.
