In Halaxy, you can create a to-do list of tasks to assign to yourself or your colleagues, then mark complete when they're done. Tasks help in boosting productivity, maximising your time, and keeping track of your practice
Tasks can also be added and linked to specific records such as:

Appointments

Clinical notes

Admin notes

Invoices
-
Patient profiles
-
Organisation profiles.
Tip
Whenever you see the tasklist icon in a Halaxy record, click it to add a task!

Click Schedule > Tasks to open the task list.

On the top right, click New Task.

In the New Task pop-up, enter your task details.

Title: Enter a name for your task. (Examples: Process unpaid invoices, set up account for new receptionist)

Assign to: Select a user in your practice group to assign this task. You can select multiple users.

Priority: Select the level of urgency for this task.

Task Date: Enter the due date for this task. If the task remains incomplete after this date, its status changes to Overdue. (Optional: You can also specify the time on the due date.)

Is scheduled (optional): Tick to set this task to repeat according to a specified schedule. You can also specify to stop repeating after a set number of times or by a specific date. (Tip: Do you need to repeat the same task for different records? Try using task templates.)

Comment (optional): Enter any notes or information related to your task.

Click Add.
The task is now set and will appear in your task list and notifications.
Tasks that are due soon appear in a notification at the top of your screen.

Edit a task: In the task list, click the task to open it. Edit the details, then click Save.

Complete a task: In the task list, click the task to open it. On the top right, click Complete.

Delete a task: In the task list, click the task to open it. On the top right, click Delete.
You can also add and link tasks to specific appointments, clinical notes, admin notes, invoices and patient profiles, and organisation profiles. This allows you to quickly find the linked record when you open the task from the task list.

Appointments
For appointments, the tasklist icon to add or view tasks is in the Appointment Information panel.

Clinical notes
For clinical notes, the tasklist icon to add or view tasks is in the clinical note title bar.

Admin notes
For admin notes, the tasklist icon is on each admin note row.

Invoices
For invoices, the tasklist icon to add or view tasks is on the top right of the invoice.

Patient or organisation profiles
For patient or organisation profiles, the tasklist icon to add or view tasks is on the top right of the profile.
