Reset or change your password


You can always reset your password if you forget it or change it for security purposes.


For additional security, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA).


Halaxy staff cannot retrieve your password and will never ask you for your password.

Reset your password

If you forgot your password, you can reset it from the login page.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to

  2. Click Forgot my password.

  3. Enter your login email address then click Reset.

  4. Check your email for instructions on resetting your password.

Change your password

You can change your password in the Users page. Practice owners and receptionists with full clinical access set the initial passwords of newly added users. The new users can then change their passwords after logging in.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. On the sidebar, click Settings > Users.

  2. Next to your name, click the Icon-Password.svg change password icon.

  3. Enter your current password and new password.

  4. Click Save.


If you have Full Access, you can also change another user’s password. However, if a user is a member of other practice groups, only they can update their own password.
