If your practice hours are going to change for a particular period, you can set up a temporary schedule that applies only during a specific date range.
Here are a couple of examples of temporary schedules:
-
You will work only on mornings for the next 3 months while you attend a short training course.
-
You will work 3 days a week for 6 months coming from parental leave then transition back to 5 days a week.
-
Click Personal > Locations.
-
Find the practice location and relevant practitioner, then click Add Another Schedule.
-
Choose the frequency of the temporary schedule, along with the week starting and end date.
-
Click Add New and enter your practice hours for this temporary schedule. Set your open time and close time for each date. You can enter multiple schedules for a single day. (For example: Monday – 9am to 12pm, Monday – 12pm to 5pm. This allows a break time for lunch.)
-
Click Save.
Your new schedule will apply only during the week starting until the end date you specified.
Caution
Your new schedule may conflict with your old schedule, so make sure that your old schedule ends at a certain date so there is no overlapping time between schedules.
