While many professions refer to the people they treat as patients, some professions may call them clients, customers or many other terms. Halaxy caters for all types of relationships and allows you to set the terminology for individual or all patients.
Change terminology for all patients

Click Settings > General.

Under the Patient Settings section, next to Terminology, click the 
edit icon.

In the pop-up, for Patient Terminology, select the term you want to use.

Click Save.
Your selected term now applies to all your patients in their profiles and invoices, except those with individual terminology settings.
Change terminology for an individual patient

Open the patient profile.

On the top right, click Edit.

In the form, for Patient Terminology, select the term you want to use for this patient.

Click Save.
This patient is now referred to as your selected term in their profile and invoices.
