Restrict user access to patient names

Follow

Who can do this?

  • Practitioners: Full Access

  • Administrators: Full Access

Confidentiality is infused throughout Halaxy's design and workflow. You can set your practice group's administration (bookkeepers or administrative staff) to view patient information without seeing real names of patients.

This restriction option is available only for administrators, not practitioners.

Hide access to patient names

  1. Click Settings > Users.

  2. Next to the user's name, click the Icon-Edit.svg edit icon.

  3. Under the access settings list, tick the checkbox Hide access to patient names.

  4. Click Save.

The administrator now sees anonymised names in HX123456 format, instead of actual patient names.
