Set up payments with Hyperwallet (EU)

Before you can begin processing payments as an EU-based practitioner, you must register your details with Hyperwallet via Halaxy. After you complete the registration process, you can process payments from any invoice - all you need is your patients' card details.

Hyperwallet is a PayPal service and can be used for payments processing via Halaxy in all countries that use the Euro as currency.

Note

Only one Hyperwallet account (and therefore one bank or PayPal account to receive deposits) can be registered per practice group.

Register with Hyperwallet to receive payments

  1. Click Settings > Payments.

  2. Under the Deposits section, click the Icon-Edit.svg pencil icon.

  3. In the pop-up, under Hyperwallet User Details, click Setup New User.

  4. A Hyperwallet registration form appears. Enter your business details and click Save to submit your details and create a Hyperwallet account.

  5. Back in Settings > Payments, under the Deposits section, click the Icon-Edit.svg pencil icon again.

  6. In the pop-up, click Edit Deposit Details to specify your bank details for receiving payments.

  7. In the pop-up, follow the prompts and enter the required information:

    • Country: Select your country.

    • Currency: Select Euro.

    • Account Type: Select either a bank account or a Paypal account to receive payments into.

    • SORT / BIC / SWIFT / IBAN number: Depending on your country, you may be asked for any of these code numbers. This information is available at your bank website.

    • Profile Type: Select Individual if you are a sole trader, or Business if you are setting up payments for a practice group. Then enter your business details.

    Note: If your selected country and currency do not match the country and currency in your Halaxy Settings > General page, you cannot enter a bank deposit account to receive payments. However, you can still select a PayPal account to receive payments.

  8. Click Save.

Your banking preferences have now been set and you can process electronic payments within Halaxy.

Note

Depending on the size of your practice group, payments may not reach your bank account until you have verified your identity with Hyperwallet. See the following section for details on verification.

Verify your identity with Hyperwallet

For practice groups with more than one practitioner, verification is required before any payments can be received. After you have processed your first payment, you need to verify your identity with Hyperwallet.

To verify your identity, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Settings > Payments.

  2. Under the Deposits section, click the Icon-Shield-Exclamation.svg shield icon.

  3. Complete the Hyperwallet Verification form that appears then click Submit.

With your details verified by Hyperwallet, payments processed via Halaxy will reach your nominated bank or PayPal account within 7 business days.

Note

You can only verify your identity with Hyperwallet after you have processed your first payment.
