Patient arrival notifications allow reception to instantly alert practitioners when a patient has arrived at your practice - all without picking up a phone or leaving their desk. Being aware of patient arrivals helps you keep your appointments on time and manage the volume of patients in your waiting room.
Tip
When you've marked a patient as arrived, you can display a map pin icon next to their name on the calendar as a quick visual cue. Enable the arrival icon in your calendar preferences.

On the calendar, right click on the patient appointment.

Hover your mouse over Update Status, then click Arrived.
The practitioner instantly receives a notification on the top right corner of their screen in Halaxy that the patient has arrived.
