Labels are a quick and easy way to categorise and organise your patients, organisations and professional contacts in Halaxy. By adding your own custom labels to profiles, you can manage your records the way you want and find what you need faster.

Click Settings > General.

Under Group Settings, next to Labels, click View All.

In the Manage Labels pop-up:

Create a label: Click Add Label, enter a label name and select a colour. (Tip: Use different colours for labels for quicker identification.)

Deactivate a label: In the same row as the label name, click the Active toggle switch to change it to Inactive. This keeps the label on existing profiles using it, but it can no longer be selected when labelling profiles.

Delete a label: In the same row as the label name, click the red X icon. In the pop-up, click Delete. (Caution: If you permanently delete a label, it is also removed from all profiles currently using it.)

Click Save.
Add a label to a patient profile

Open the patient's profile.

On the top right, click Edit.

Under the Labels & Alerts section, under the Labels field, select the label/s you want to add. (You can only add existing labels to a profile.)

Click Save.
Add a label to a professional contact profile

Click Contacts > Professionals.

From the list, click a contact’s name to open their profile.

On the top right, click Edit.

Under the Practitioner Details section, under Labels, select the label/s you want to add. (You can only add existing labels to a profile.)

Click Save.
Add a label to an organisation profile

Click Contacts > Organisations.

From the list, click the organisation name to open its profile.

Next to the organisation's name, click Edit.

Under the Organisation Details section, under Labels, select the label/s you want to add. (You can only add existing labels to a profile.)

Click Save.
Search and filter profiles by labels

Open the patient / professional contact / organisation list.

On the Labels column, click the three lines icon to open the filter settings.

Select the label/s to filter the list, then click Apply.
The list displays only profiles containing the label/s you selected.
