Send and receive clinical records with Argus or ReferralNet

Who can do this?

Patient records can be sent to other practitioners if both you and the receiving practitioner have ReferralNet or Argus accounts.

Sending clinical records using Argus or ReferralNet costs 3 credits per message.

Send a clinical record with Argus or ReferralNet

  1. Open the clinical note.

  2. Click the down arrow to open the note options, then select SMD Argus or SMD ReferralNet.

  3. In the pop-up, enter the search criteria to find your recipient in the Argus or ReferralNet database.

  4. Click the practitioner you want to send the clinical note. A summary appears for you to review.

  5. Select the message type, then click Send.

Receive secure messages with Argus or ReferralNet

When you receive a secure message through Argus or ReferralNet:

  • You receive a notification in the top right of your screen.

  • Click View link in the notification to open the message.

  • You can view all messages sent and received in Contacts > Secure Message.
