With a dedicated phone number, your calls and messages made in Halaxy come from the same number every time you contact your patients. This ensures that recipients can easily identify you and always recognise your practice. You can buy a dedicated number for the practice group or an individual practitioner.
A dedicated phone number is required for:

Allowing patients to respond to one-off SMS messages and SMS campaigns

Phone consultations
A dedicated phone number requires a monthly subscription and costs 50 credits per month. You can cancel your subscription any time. Dedicated numbers are assigned randomly on subscription and cannot be chosen.
Note
A dedicated number only makes outbound calls but does not receive inbound calls. Patients can send SMS messages to the dedicated number but are unable to call it.
Dedicated numbers are required to be registered to businesses to help curb fraudulent activity via SMS and phone calls.
To purchase a subscription, you must:

Register your practice to be linked to your assigned phone number.

Upload a copy of your business registration document. You can download your ASIC Business Summary from the ASIC Register website.
Please allow 1 to 2 days to process and approve your registration.
You are not charged until your registration is approved and your subscription is activated.
Note
If you have previously registered and uploaded your business registration document from a SMS custom name subscription, your registration form and document are already pre-filled for you. All you need to do is submit them.

Click Settings > Reminders.

Under the practice group setting or practitioner setting, click Buy Number.

In the pop-up, follow the registration process.

1 - Overview: Click Next.

2 - Registration: Select your practice location and a user from your practice as the registrant. If you have multiple locations, you can select one location to register for your group. Click Next.

3 - Documents: Click Add File and upload your business registration document. When your file is uploaded, click Next.

4 - Review: Review your information and ensure your information is correct.

Click Submit.
Your dedicated number request has been submitted for registration and now has a status of Pending. Please allow 1 to 2 days for approval.
After your registration is approved, your subscription begins and its status changes to Active.

Click Settings > Reminders.

Under the practice group setting or practitioner setting, next to Dedicated Number, click the
pencil icon.

In the Edit Subscription Settings pop-up, select one:

Cancel on expiry: End your subscription at the end of the current subscription month.

Cancel now: End your subscription immediately.

Click Save.
Your subscription cancels according to your specifications. You can reactivate your subscription at any time.
