Set up requirements for issuing electronic prescriptions (e-scripts)

For the security of all users and integration of our health system, practitioners who wish to use e-scripts and paper MediSecure prescriptions must first set up the following prerequisites for their Halaxy account.

Requirements

  1. Enable Prescriptions and Order Requests for users in their access level settings.

  2. Ensure that users have an active and verified Medicare Location ID for each practice location.

  3. Register each practice location with MediSecure. Under Settings, go to the Integrations page. In the MediSecure section, click Request New Access and submit details for each location. MediSecure will send Halaxy the activation codes in 3-5 days.

  4. Link their practice HPI-O to Halaxy's CSP in PRODA.

    • Halaxy's CSP registration number is 8003630833414661.

    • Users must ensure that the correct HPI-O is entered.
