Electronic Payments Processing - Stripe Registration (US, UK, NZ and Mexico)

Payments processing using Stripe is currently in early access and available to some users only. If you would like to take part in early tests for Stripe processing, please email us at community@halaxy.com.

Users in some countries must register with Stripe before they can use electronic payments processing. Once registered, payments can be processed manually or automatically from any invoice, with payments deposited directly into the bank account you have registered with Stripe.

You can only link one Stripe account per practice group. If you already have a Stripe account, you will be asked to link that account when you register using the same details.

Registering with Stripe

To register with Stripe:

  1. Click Settings > Payments.

  2. In the Deposits section, click the Edit (pencil) icon.

  3. Register with your business and bank details with Stripe. You will need to provide business details and personal identification so that Stripe can verify you.

  4. After registration, Stripe will validate your account. This is usually instantaneous. When validated, your Stripe Account status in Halaxy will change to "Active":

Your Stripe account is now validated and linked with Halaxy. You can now process payments from any invoice, as well as set up automatic payments processing. Please see this list of Stripe processing times by country for when payments will appear in the bank account you registered with Stripe. Please allow 7 days for your first payment to appear in your account.
