Set patient age display preference

Whenever a patient's date of birth is displayed, you can configure Halaxy to also display the patient's age in years and/or months. Age for children under 3 years old is displayed in weeks and/or days.

Note

The age display preference also affects the dynamic term [Patient Age] when used in reports and clinical notes.

Configure patient age display settings

  1. Click Settings > General.

  2. Under the Patient Settings section, next to Terminology, click the Icon-Edit.svg edit icon.

  3. In the pop-up, for Date of Birth Format, select how you want to display the patient's age.

  4. Click Save.
