Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel Tracking On Your Halaxy Profile

Halaxy allows you to install your Google Tag Manager and Facebook pixel unique IDs into your Halaxy account to track visits and conversions (bookings and purchases) on your directory profile and online bookings pages. This data is fed directly into your Google and Facebook analytics.

Tracking usage and conversion data gives you greater visibility of how patients visit your online bookings page and how much traffic and revenue you generate from ads and other sources. You can track data for your both individual practitioner profiles and clinic profiles in the Halaxy directory.

For assistance on how to set up a tag in Google Tag Manager or Facebook pixel tracking, please contact Google or Facebook or speak to your marketing or IT professional.

Once you're set up, all you need to do is copy and paste your unique IDs from Google and Facebook into your Halaxy.

Google/Facebook tracking for a practitioner profile

To integrate Google Tag Manager or Facebook pixel tracking for an individual practitioner's directory profile, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Personal > Profile.

  2. Click Directory Profile Preferences.

  3. Click the Tracking tab.

  4. Add your Google and/or Facebook tracking IDs. For Google Tag Manager, this is your unique ID for the tag you have created. For Facebook, this is the ID in the Event Manager's Data Sources section.

  5. Click Save.

RESULT: Traffic, conversions and activity on the practitioner's personal directory profile will be tracked in your Google and Facebook analytics.

Google/Facebook tracking for a clinic profile

To integrate Google Tag Manager or Facebook pixel tracking for a clinic's directory profile, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Personal > Locations.

  2. Find the clinic you want and click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Online Directory section.

  3. The Update Online Directory Information pop-up appears:

    Add your Google and/or Facebook tracking IDs. For Google Tag Manager, this is your unique ID for the tag you have created. For Facebook, this is the ID in the Event Manager's Data Sources section.

  4. Click Done.
