Why are patient and appointment details not appearing when I print a clinical note?


Halaxy allows you to print  clinical notes with varying levels of detail to suit your purposes. If a note does not have patient or appointment details when printed, it means that the clinical note print settings have been set to a lower level of detail.

To adjust the default clinical note print settings:

  1. Navigate to the clinical note.

  2. Click the cogwheel icon at the top-right of the page.

  3. The Note Preferences pop up will appear. Select the level of detail you require for printed notes.


    These include:

    • Basic: prints the note content only

    • Medium: prints note content and appointment details

    • Full: prints note content, appointment details and invoice details

  4. Click Save.

RESULT: By default, your clinical notes will print according to your settings.


Regardless of your default clinical note print settings, you can choose print settings for any individual clinical note by using the Print button in the drop-down menu instead of clicking the Print icon in the top-right.
