Use external apps for telehealth

If you already use external video conferencing apps (such as Zoom or Skype) for online consultations, you can add video call links from these apps to any Halaxy appointment.

You can also use Halaxy Telehealth, our built-in video and phone consultation platform you can use seamlessly right from the calendar.

Create a telehealth appointment for an external video conference app

  1. First, schedule a meeting your external video conferencing app and copy the link to the meeting.

  2. In Halaxy, create an appointment.

  3. Enter your required details. For Location, select Online Consultation.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In the Appointment Information panel, click the Icon-Video.svg video icon.

  6. For Telehealth URL, paste the link you copied earlier.

  7. Click Save.

Tip

Don’t forget to send the appointment link to your patient! Without their unique link, they will not be able to attend the appointment.

Start your telehealth appointment

  1. From the calendar, open the appointment.

  2. Next to Location, click the link Online Consultation.

  3. When finished, click the Back button on your browser to return to your Halaxy calendar.
