You can send an individual email or SMS to a patient by clicking their email address or mobile phone number in their patient profile. For detailed instructions:
Navigate to the patient's profile.
In the Contact Details section, click their email address or phone number.
A pop-up appears. If desired, select a practitioner and communication template. You can also simply enter your message in the main content field.
For emails, you can attach a file, add a subject line and add CC and BCC email addresses. In the Content area, you can also format your email like a word processor, as well as add images.
For SMS messages, Select whether the SMS is one-way or two-way. To send a two-way message, you must have subscribed for a dedicated number. The pop-up will display the number of characters and the Halaxy credit cost based on the length of your message.
Click Submit or Send.
Responses to two-way SMS messages will appear in your inbound messages at the top of the screen. You can also view responses by by viewing your Message History with the patient or by running an SMS communication report.
