How do I add an appointment that is part of a package?


First create the invoice, then add the appointments to the invoice.

  1. Click Finances > Invoices.

  2. Click New Invoice at the top-right of the page.

  3. Click the Package radio button.

  4. Choose the package from the Package drop-down menu.

  5. Select whether to invoice a patient or organisation.

  6. Ensure the correct Practitioner and Location are set.

  7. Enter the patient/organisation's name.

  8. Click Submit.

  9. You will be taken to the invoice for the package. In the Fees & Charges section, click the Edit (pencil) icon on any fee line to link a date/appointment to the fee.

  10. In the Date field, enter the date of the appointment.

  11. Click the Yes radio button under "Add appointment".

  12. Enter the time and duration of the appointment.

  13. Click Save.

RESULT: The fee is now linked to an appointment, and this appears on the invoice.

Alternatively when you next create an appointment for a patient with one of the fees included in the package, Halaxy automatically allocates the fee to the package on the invoice.
