Why aren't dynamic terms converting properly in my template?


For dynamic terms to be converted to real text, you need to ensure that the clinical note you used the template in is linked to either a referral or an appointment. You can check this by looking at the name of the Template next to the Edit icon in the Clinical page. If the name is not the name of the appointment (Treatment review for example) and says something like "Appointment" then the template will not be linked.

To link the clinical note:

  1. Click the Edit (pencil) icon towards the top of the page (next to the name of the template).

  2. The Edit Clinical Note pop-up appears. From the relevant drop-down menu, select the Referral or Appointment the note is to be linked to.

  3. Click Submit.

RESULT: The dynamic terms display after you preview or publish the note.
