What does code 297 (Patient's name stated is different to that under file number) mean?

Explanation

A different name has been entered for the patient as it appears on the DVA card.

Action

  1. From the invoice, click on the patient's name in blue in the Patient section.

  2. You will now be on the patient's General page. Click Edit at the top-right of the page.

  3. Enter the correct name as it appears on the patient's DVA card and click Save.

  4. Go back to the invoice and reprocess the claim.
