Your organisations list lets you keep track of organisations you do business with. This lets you build a directory of organisations and sort your invoices by organisation or funding body.
Each organisation has a profile, similar to a patient profile, that displays their contact details, their payment information, their invoices and their fee balance. Organisations that you make invoices, fees or appointments for will automatically have a profile created for them in your organisations list.

Organisation profiles will automatically be created when you invoice them using third-party billing via a patient claim. However, you can manually manage your organisations at any time.
To manually add an organisation to your organisations list:
-
Click Contacts > Organisations.
-
Click Add Organisation at the top-right of the page.
-
In the Name field, enter the Organisation's name and select it from the list to import it from Halaxy's database. If it is not in the list, click to add it as a new organisation.
-
Enter the organisation's details as desired, including ABN, website and contact email address for receiving invoices.
-
In the Invoices section, under Schedule, set a schedule for how often you wish to send invoices for claims with this organisation:
-
If you want to send invoices manually, leave this blank; or
-
Import an existing schedule (e.g., Daily, Weekly (every XXXday), Fortnightly, Monthly, 4 weekly); or
-
enter the name of a new schedule to create a custom schedule.
-
-
Click Save.
Adding payment details to an organisation allows you to automatically process payments to the organisation. To add a credit card:
-
Click Contacts > Organisations.
-
Click the name of the organisation in the list.
-
Under Credit Cards, click Add Card to add a credit card. The Organisation Credit Card Details pop-up appears.
-
Add the credit card details and click Submit.
RESULT: The added card will be used whenever you invoice the organisation.
You can click the Email (envelope) icon on an organisation profile to view a message history with that organisation:

From the message history, you can filter by communication type:

Tick the "Include all contacts" checkbox to also include emails sent to professional contacts from that organisation rather than just the organisation's email address:
