The Medicare Card Number entered into Halaxy is incorrect.

Action

The first step is the verify the patient’s Medicare Card Number:

  1. From the invoice, click on the patient's name in blue in the Client section.
  2. Click the Funding tab.
  3. In the Claims & Referrals section, click the Patient Verification icon to the left of the Medicare Card Number.
  4. If verification is successful, return to the invoice and reprocess the claim. If the verification is not successful, contact the patient to confirm the correct Medicare number or call Medicare.
