Where can I see the SMS / text responses from my patients?

Two-way SMS messages

Responses for two-way SMS messages from patients are shown on the appointment status in your calendar. The different colours represent the different statuses:

  • Green - Yes - Confirmed
  • Red - No - Rejected
  • Yellow - No response yet - Booked
  • Amber - Response sent but not yes or no - Check response
  • Grey - Not sent - N/A

To see the message content, click the Reminder (bell) icon in the appointment details.

 

 You can also create a report to see the responses for two-way SMS messages by following the steps below:

  1. Under Reports, click Communication.
  2. Click New Report at the top-right of the page
  3. In the Report Type drop-down menu, select Reminders.
  4. Enter any other report parameters you require.
  5. Click Run.

One-way SMS messages

Responses for one-way SMS (which you can send from a patient's General page) can be found in your Notifications (bell icon) on the top control bar.

You can also create a report to see the responses for one-way SMS messages by following the steps below:

  1. Under Reports, click Communication.
  2. Click New Report at the top-right of the page
  3. In the Report Type drop-down menu, select SMS.
  4. Enter any other report parameters you require.
  5. Click Run.
