Why does a patient keep getting reminders when I set them up to not receive reminders?


Whilst you can set individual patient preferences so that they do not receive SMS or email reminders on their General page, you may have inadvertently overridden those preferences on the Reminders page.

Check your Reminders page by following these steps:

  1. Under Settings, click Reminders.
  2. In the Preferences section, click the Edit icon (to the right).
  3. Ensure that the "Patients without reminder preferences" radio button is selected.
  4. Click Save.
