Upload and share files

Files can be securely uploaded to your health records then shared with any of your practitioners.This can be useful if you need to provide a referral or medical results to a practitioner

Upload files to your patient profile

  1. On the sidebar, click My Health > Notes.

  2. On the top right, click Upload a File. (Alternatively, you can also click New Health Note if you want to upload a file to a health note unrelated to an appointment.)

  3. In the pop-up, click Upload Files or drag and drop your files to the pop-up. You can add up to 10 files at a time. You can rename, categorise, or add notes to your files. (Note: Selecting the Clinical category restricts access to the file to Clinical Access or Full Access users only.)

  4. Click Save.

The file is saved to your profile. You can now share it with your practitioner or with another patient with a Halaxy portal.

Share a file

  1. From the left panel, click the file you want to share.

  2. On the file, click Share.

  3. In the pop-up, select the practitioner you want to share the file with.

  4. Click Save.

The file is now visible as part of your clinical record for the user or practitioner you selected. Depending on their settings, the practitioner may be notified that you have uploaded a file to your record.
