If you issue the same prescription to patients, you can save time by duplicating an existing prescription. When you duplicate, the prescription is recreated with the same medication/s and prescription details, which you can still edit before publishing.
Note
You can only duplicate published prescriptions.
There are two ways to duplicate an existing prescription.

When creating a new prescription

Open the patient profile and click the Clinical Notes tab.

Create or open a clinical note, then click Add Order.

In the pop-up, set Order type to Prescription, then in the bottom right, click Duplicate Previous Prescription.

In the list, search and select the prescription you want to duplicate, then click Select.

Review the details of the prescription, then click Create to confirm.
Your new prescription is created with the details from the prescription you duplicated.

From the existing prescription

Open the published prescription you want to duplicate.

Next to the Print button, click the down arrow, then select Duplicate Prescription.

In the pop-up, configure the prescription details, then click Duplicate Prescription to confirm.
Your new prescription is created with the details from the prescription you duplicated.
